January 2012 General Meeting -
January general meeting - Jan. 10, 2012 at 7:00 at the Isleno Center. Guest speaker - Donald Davis. Spoke on his research for his book WASHED AWAY? THE INVISIBLE PEOPLE OF LOUISIANA'S WETLANDS. He is interested in collecting oral history stories from Islenos in the Parish. Speaker Don Davis on Story Telling: Old photos and experiences in the past.
The meeting is free and the public is invited. He will be setting up appointments with anyone interested in contributing their stories for his research. Place: 1357 Bayou Rd., St. Bernard, LA
